To ensure its position as the only owner of profitable tire-to-energy plants in the United States, on July 29, 2009, GreenTire filed its pending United States Patent Application (Serial No. 12/511,302) entitled “Techniques for Locating and Operating Gasification Plant Having Predominately Scrap Tire Rubber as Feedstock”.
